MyBody Studios is the North East’s premier venue for holistic exercise, specialising in Pilates, Yoga, BarreConcept, Meditation and Personal Training.

My Body Studios is the premier venue in the North East for holistic exercise.  We specialise in Pilates, Yoga, Barre, Mindfulness and Meditation.  With around 30 classes a week, we have a class to suit everyone, regardless of age or ability.

Established in 2002, we have won yearly local and national awards for our exercise studio and have a 5 star rating.  We are also an approved training centre for teacher training courses.

We are open for face to face classes in the studio, complying with the current restrictions and government guidelines.  We are also fully operational for virtual online sessions, delivered directly to your home.

We have a variety of different live streaming virtual sessions each day for you to attend.  Can’t get to a class?  No problem!  We have a range of pre-recorded class sessions on our On Demand Video Hub, which you can access any day, any time.  You chose what is best for you!

MyBody Studios offers a range of beginners workshops, designed to teach you the basics and fundamentals of a particular exercise method.

This knowledge and understanding will give you the experience required to join a regular group class afterwards. These taster sessions are available for various fitness methods as well as a range holistic self-development workshops for meditation, mindfulness and spirituality. The introductory sessions provide you with a broad overview, so you can make a decision on which direction you want to head and whether to wish to delve further down a particular avenue.

I cannot recommend this studio highly enough. Emma and her team are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Classes are well organised with hands on tuition throughout to ensure you get the best from your workout. The instructors work with you as an individual, modifying exercises if required. Workouts in each class are different every week, so while the moves may become more familiar, you are always guaranteed a good workout. There are flexible options to book classes and a useful website and on-line booking system. Emma also runs introductory/taster sessions for different class types to allow potential clients to experience the discipline before booking a class, I found this really useful when I first started to attend the studio.

Today I had a fantastic one to one session with Emma, this lady is fantastic, her knowledge is outstanding|. She identified straight away areas of tension in my spine and shoulders, something which many others failed to spot ( I am deceptively mobile and compensate with other muscle groups) During the session each movement was clearly explained and tailored to my existing knowledge and it felt great to feel areas of tension, that I suspected were heading for injury if not handled, release and lengthen. I have been going to my body studios for about 12 years (can’t believe it!). Emma and the team always have different routines every week which keeps it interesting and covers all muscles in our body.
