Pilates

Pilates is a workout that recognises individual needs and builds strength without adding bulk and balancing that strength with flexibility. It relies on strengthening the postural muscles which stabilise the torso. By correcting muscle imbalance, faulty muscle recruitment patterns and bad habits, the body is brought back into alignment.

Each exercise is based on the 8 principles of :- Relaxation, Co-ordination, Stamina, Alignment, Breathing, Concentration, Centering and Flowing Movements.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout that will work on strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance whilst targeting the ‘power house’ muscles. You will also fire up your deep stabiliser muscles that will stabilise your spine, pelvis and core.

You will become familiar with the Reformer bed and the different ways in which it can be used.

Barre

Barre isn’t ballet, but it does bring together the grace of ballet, the precision of Pilates, and the power of strength training for a low-impact, high-intensity workout.

This total-body session lifts the butt, tones the thighs, flattens the abs, and sculpts the arms—all while being kind to your joints. Using body weight and small resistance props like bands, balls, and light weights, you’ll build endurance, improve posture, and boost flexibility.

Stick with it, and in just ten sessions, you’ll see your body realign, rebalance, and feel stronger than ever!
